world, meet Torin!

This photo was taken just moments before little N met her first kitchen sink bath.

Regular readers might recognize my rock star baby friend from other portrait sessions we’ve done together. She’s my muse! I got the photo I wanted (above) but also loved the in-between moments (below).

Isn’t giving baby a bath in the kitchen sink one of those classic childhood photo moments? Her little bum was too slippery so we had to put her in the bumbo
heehee.
(Can’t wait to see you in September, N!)
There’s just something about this image. I keep coming back to it.

best outtake ever!

this makes me giggle every time I look at it.
Here’s the latest batch of cuties from our mini sessions!

Rachel will be doing outdoor family portraits until November 8. The New England fall foliage will soon be at its peak; take advantage of this beautiful scenery and get your family portraits done outside in natural light. Since our mini-sessions are outdoors, they are great for children of all ages.

Portraits aren’t limited to families! Colin, a NY-based engineer, used his session for headshots and they turned out great.

There are slots still available for our mini sessions on November 7 and 8. Sign up for your session now to take advantage of this great deal.
Some more from my time with Chandler. She is the reason I have decided I’d like to specialize in 8 month olds… if that were possible. These are the images most loved by her mom and dad.

If you have a newborn now, please consider scheduling a portrait session around 8 months. It’s a delightful age where they find their toes, love to wiggle and smile, and light up when they see your face.

Two images from our casual time catching up with our friend Stephen and his new daughter Marlee.

Stephen and his wife Rachel were my wedding clients in 2007, and Stephen was Ali’s roommate in Cambridge as they worked toward their masters degrees at MIT. Stephen interned with NASA, as if MIT isn’t impressive enough.
