My favorite personal work is photographing entrepreneurs and artists. I am inspired and fired up with the enthusiasm, courage, and spunk I see in women business owners across the country. I’ll be photographing some local Portland writers and artists in upcoming months, and can not wait to share!

In the meantime, I am quite proud to share the news that a little picture of mine appeared in today’s copy of The Oregonian newspaper in an article written by Bridget Otto. I was excited when Trisha Guido asked me to do a quick headshot for her in her store, Relish… now that the image has been used publicly I am even more happy for her – and thankful I can now say my work has appeared in The Oregonian! There’s something wonderful about the anticipation of a classic childhood moment, like blowing out candles on a huge ridiculous birthday cake.
