Some more from my time with Chandler. She is the reason I have decided I’d like to specialize in 8 month olds… if that were possible. These are the images most loved by her mom and dad.

If you have a newborn now, please consider scheduling a portrait session around 8 months. It’s a delightful age where they find their toes, love to wiggle and smile, and light up when they see your face.

Some cute photos from my mini shoot with Linus and family. Our original shoot was interrupted by a broken camera, so we’re in the process of rescheduling. Can’t wait!

Some tulip silhouettes from last year…. and I’ll let you in on a secret: whether we admit it or not, photographers always take photos of ourselves in public bathrooms when no one is looking. (Isn’t that funny?)

Two images from our casual time catching up with our friend Stephen and his new daughter Marlee.

Stephen and his wife Rachel were my wedding clients in 2007, and Stephen was Ali’s roommate in Cambridge as they worked toward their masters degrees at MIT. Stephen interned with NASA, as if MIT isn’t impressive enough.

Am I the only one who finds it inappropriate that Cinderella is doing the “Paris Hilton” over the shoulder glance? Should I be taking notes for my boudoir work from Disney princesses now? I am disturbed, but only mildly surprised at the way these princesses have been tarted up with strangely alluring posing (butterflies or not) for this young girl’s birthday party decor. [shudder]
My favorite stylist Tricia just moved from Boston out to Portland and I wanted to make sure we updated her headshots on the way out.

Isn’t she adorable? I love doing lighthearted portrait sessions with such interesting and lovely results… we were shooting at a hotel location and almost got kicked out.
When we were in California for our April wedding, we took an afternoon to hang out at the Getty Villa in Malibu. Here are a few photos:
